What ever happened to the tanks that were used in the movie. They are Spanish M47s (they are outfitted with a muzzlebreak i'm not familiar with.)

I think I read that 51 M-47s were used for the movie. Where are they today, I know Spain still has a large number of M-47s still in service and have been upgraded with a new engine and 105mm guns.

Are the ones in the movie still in service?

That muzzle-break that you're not familiar with is a single-baffle (one hole) muzzle-brake. Most tanks of WW-2 had double-baffle muzzle-brakes (two holes), if any.
