shareI agree the snow soon 'melted' as the German advance got under way. However, the battle scenes, strong acting leads plus, the overall movie overshadowed this possible oversight.
One thing about this movie though - a couple of my English Uncles (both Second World War veterans), both commented at the time (1965) that, this was the first movie they had ever seen, where the Americans were shown as retreating!
