seem like movies of that era were all more or less propaganda


solemn, evil cunning enemies+sunny happy "good" guys+cartoonish fighting. I saw WWII movies made by Soviet Union, the US, several European and Asian countries during that era. They all look strikingly similar. Maybe audiences back in the 60s were more naive, more gullible. Nowadays, if you made a war movie with nothing but one dimensional characters, your box office figure would be ugly beyond recognition.

He ought to be saying this movie is made up, Hollywood crap. Nothing in Bulge resembled ANYTHING in this movie. It's terrible from top to bottom with the exception of the cast that trys their best with a hideous script... Historical nonsense, very poor directing, sophomoric writing... Just AWFUL!
