... why isn't RC given any credit for his role in this movie? :(

What exactly was his role? I read your post before seeing the film but I'm not sure I noticed him.

i think you're confusing don murray for robert conrad - murray does resemble conrad very much in this movie in a few scenes - that would be why conrad has no credit for being in the movie - because he isn't :)
