Carter's In-and-Out German Fluency
I've been watching the episodes in order on ME TV. Early on, Sgt. Carter knew no German (not surprising). But he suddenly becomes fluent enough to impersonate not only Gestapo officers but De Furher himself! Then, in a third season episode involving sabotaging phony RAF planes at a German airfield, he loses his German tongue and Hogan tells him to stay mum whole on the mission. What will seasons 4-5-6 bring?
