Name "Mighty Hogan Art Players" used in S1, Ep.6-Did Carson pick it up?

In Season 1, episode 6 of Hogan's Heroes, Hogan mentions to Newkirk about a job for the Mighty Hogan Art players. This was on October 22, 1965. Johnny Carson's use of the expression "Mighty Carson Art Players" goes back to at least 1973--maybe even further back. Did Carson pick this up from Hogan? Or was it the other way around?

The answer is neither copied each other. According to a newspaper article, Carson's bit originated in 1966 as an homage to the Fred Allen radio show, which featured the "Mighty Allen Art Players."
