Hollywood produces remakes of films older than Hogan's Heroes. Next up, The Magnificent Seven. Why not Hogan's Heroes? The series has a higher profile today than those movies. In many TV markets, it's aired once, even twice, a day.

Having seen Waltz in the 90's UK series The Gravy Train, I kind of like the idea of him for Klink. He has the right sort of comic sensibility for the role as his part in that show demonstrated.
