Bea Benaderet also played the original version of the Lisa Douglas character (named Martha) in Jay Somers' original version of Green Acres which aired aired twelve years BEFORE the The Beverly Hillbillies!!!

But in this version, Mr. Kimble owns and runs the general store. (instead of Sam Drucker).
However, he is as scatterbrained as the version we're used to seeing on tv.
Who says Green Acres is a spinoff of Petticoat Junction like we all thought it was??? I used to think it was also. However,
The original version of Green Acres aired TWELVE YEARS BEFORE "The Beverly Hillbillies" and was also produced and created by Jay Somers
