Anybody not like the crossovers with the other Hennings shows?

To me they were the best but maybe someone feels differently about that. If PJ and GA lasted a couple more years I think it would have been important to have both sets of characters fully intermeshed to provide fresh story ideas. Having Steve Elliot as a neighboring farmer to Oliver and Mr Ziffle would have been interesting. Steve could try to drag both into the 1970's with a great deal of effort. Oliver could send Eb over to the Elliot's after one of his meltdowns and Eb actually learns something from the more level headed Steve. Uncle Joe would have a better reason to troll that neighborhood and bum dinner. Mr Haney tries to pull his shenanigans over at the Elliot's with Betty Jo getting the upper hand at the end.

I loved it when they crossed over. They were always the best episodes.

Well...they crossed over but also stated that THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES was a TV show.

The WORST example of that was EMERGENCY! started out as a crossover from ADAM 12...then later on in EMERGENCY! they watch ADAM 12 on TV.

In "Green Acres", they state that "Green Acres" is a tv show without actually stating it.

Also, some characters on "Green Acres" watch the tv series "Petticoat Junction" on tv.

So they also stated that "Petticoat Junction" is a tv show.

Although the PJ characters were there interacting with them from day 1.
