I loved Sanda Dee's Gidget and the ones by Deboray Walley
(Hawiian) and Cindy Carol (Rome) and some of the TV movies;
but I was a gonner when Sally Field introduced her Gidget on
TV. The TV series was definitely better, even if the movies
wandered to more exotic locales. It was more comfortable...
Did anybody notice "Pizza-man" (Captain Furillo) Dan(iel J.)
Travanti of Hill Street Blues; Richard Dreyfuss; Bonnie
Franklin; Barbara Hershey and Judy Carne among the guests
and semi-regular cast?
