DVD?
Does anyone know if the Gidget seasons are on dvd or if they are ever going to be put on dvd? Thanks

That is the Gigdet movie series..not the tv show...Hopefully they will come out with the tv show seasons!

I am DYING to have all the episodes on DVD!!! I am desperately searching the internet for ANY info about it! Why was this show so ignored? It's fabulous! What's better than a show was Sally Field and Don Porter? I'll keep looking and I'll keep checking here to see if anyone knows anything.
shareI hope they put the series on DVD! I loved watching the reruns on Nickelodeon back in the 80's. I miss that show so much!!! Ever since, Sally Field has been one of my favorite actresses! She is so talented in many different areas of acting!
The "GIDGET: THE COMPLETE SERIES" DVD released earlier
this year IS the TV SERIES. It lasted only one season
and was cancelled; in the extras disk, Sally Field said
that the show began to get good ratings during the summer
reruns after it was cancelled, but the studio would not
relent, despite the increasing public attention and growing
buzz about the show.
They moved her into "The Flying Nun", replacing someone
else, as Sr.Bertrille.
The GIDGET Complete Series is now out; the Flying Nun
Season 1 and Season 2 DVDs are also out now. Amazon.com
has them... SYBIL, too.
