Just wanted to say my mother loved this movie. She had me in 1967 and named me Gidget. I have always enjoyed my name and the attention I have recieved from this not so common name. I loved Sally Field and all the movies made also from Sandra Dee. I have my name on my lisence plate on my truck here in Alaska. She was a great lady.

shareI was born in 1985, and was also given the name Gidget (its my middle name). What can I say? my dad's a surfer. He collects surf memorabilia, so he has pictures of Kathy Koner (the real Gidget) on his wall.
