Was smoking hot!
I saw the show this morning after many years of not seeing it, and wow! She wore these nice form-fitting outfits and was either frolicking beach, or bouncing around in her bed with those bright brown eyes and that shapely body.
I wonder if she might've created a challenge for the censors at the time.
She seemed pretty respectable and wholesome and was a good role model for teen girls. I haven't watched the show in a while but if I recall correctly, we didn't see her belly button, did we? I remember Annette never showing hers but I remember Sally Field wearing the same kind of swimsuits.
shareI agree with what you said, but watching Sally Field around 19 or 20 (in an absolutely brilliant print, I might add), who seemed to be either in bed, on the beach, or wearing an outfit that hinted at her youthful loveliness, was definitely a bit of a turn on!
shareOh no doubt about that, she most definitely had some people taking a second look. But Sally Field was able to pull that off and still look sweet and innocent.
I will have to get my dvd's out again. I loved that show. I wish there could have been one more season.
I always thought of her as being cute, but not exactly "hot." Equating her to the chicks at my high school, there were the "hot" chicks and there were the quirky, cute "chicks." I would've considered her more in the latter group.
