Missing Episodes on DVD...

Anyone notice that there seem to be a couple of episodes missing from the "Complete Series" DVD?

I remember being a kid and watching the show (in re-runs of course) and one of my favorite episodes involved Gidget's dad sending her around the house, leaving her little notes/clues, sort of putting her on a scavenger hunt. To my dissapointment, this episode wasn't on the DVD.

Also, IMDB lists a total of 32 episodes and the DVD only has, I believe 30 episodes.

Greyserf,

That is disappointing. I recorded all the episodes on tape (off all things) and I'm glad I haven't tossed them as of yet. I definitely want to own the DVD box set someday -- but this is not good news. I wonder what happened. Let's hope there is a miscount somewhere.

Cool... so you have all the episodes? Do you know the episode that I'm talking about? As I said, it had something to do with Gidget getting all these clues from her dad, all around the house, and I think at the end, the clues led her to a gift, which I believe was a dress.

That was my favorite episode... and I'm hoping I'm not making up the entire thing, ha.

That episode is on the DVD. It's called "Image Scrimmage" and is on the first disc. Gidget (and LaRue) look for clues in the kitchen and find the last one in her father's study. Her dad gives her a plain dress (picked out by her sister) and Gidget trades it in for a dress with a feather collar. This episode was shown on TV Land and is on the DVD Set. The DVD contains 32 episodes.

So funny I read this posting first about that episode and a couple of people mentioned what show this was and the # and then I went back and found in 2007 someone posted this exact same question and a person answered it back then as well. I guess you must not have surfed and read the messages on here first. There arent that many. I have glanced over most of them myself. Its fun to read the comments about this wonderful show.

It was on my dvd, I remember that episode, having seen the series recently. My set [actually the library's but I'm going to get my own] had the 32, 33 if you count the orignal pilot which was on disk four under special feature. The storyline of the pilot was basically repeated in episode one!
