Of course we were never told much as in one ep she used another "name" which at one point she told Max it was not her real one.
In 2 different trivia books they used that same name which of course was wrong.

Two trivia books where the authors didn't do their research properly. At the end of that episode she quite clearly told Max it wasn't her real name (Susan Hilton).

In another episode he calls her Ernastine. She says "that's the first time you've called me Ernastine. I wish it was my name."
