Get Smart debuted on NBC on September 18, 1965. Happy 50th anniversary.

And Don Adams died in Sept., 2005, 40 years almost to the day after "Get Smart" premiered.

And I'd never thought about that with the timing of Don Adams' passing away but yes it's true.
