Is it just me, or is it that is seems that 80% of the women that show up in Get Smart (with the obvious exception of 99 and a handful of guest stars) are KAOS agents? It seems to me, whatever a woman that is not a background character always ends up as a KAOS agent. Why is that? It is actually starting to get a little old when I am watching the show.

Well most of the guest stars are either KAOS agents or Maguffins to be kidnapped.
shareIt seems to me that, except for a handful of guest stars, most people featured on this series turn out to be KAOS agents--male or female.
I think you could argue that this show was ahead of its time in showing that women can be intelligent espionage agents, whether they worked for KAOS or CONTROL. They weren't just in minor roles.
Why don't we just shoot 'em down and be through with it?
I think that takeaway is that you can't trust women.
