i thought both one in a show that max was the king or corona

No that was James Caan. Rickles was in a two parter and he was an old army buddy of Max.

Actually, you are both correct. Don Rickles did guest star in a two part episode called "The Little Black Book". But he also had a small uncredited cameo appearance in "To Sire with Love", which featured James Caan as Rupert of Rathskeller who kidnapped the king of Coronia.
