This is the most inept dept. I have ever seen! No way should Clyde have been able to escape! That area and all exits should have been covered! Stefano would talk about how useless Roman and the dept were!

shareNot only that but instead of seeing Roman, John, and other veteran police officers out there, we see newby police officer JJ running things and giving orders.
shareIt's the inherent problem with only giving these characters opponents who they don't want to leave the show. Characters like Stefano always have to get away with everything they do, or else be written off; meaning the protagonists are constantly being out smarted, often through plot contrivances that make the heroes look dumber than they should be.
That's what you get with manufactured drama, instead of developing conflict naturally.
