Not bad ratings for a short-lived show, really.

I agree. I wonder why it got dropped.

Well it probably got dropped because Arthur Digby Sellers had health issues. But he managed to write 156 episodes beforehand, the bulk of the series. Yet his son is a *beep* dunce who's flunking social studies.

It was canceled after the 1961-66 season and maybe its ratings slipped then.
