Do you think When Audra got Older she would Think and Act like Victoria?

Victoria was gracious, grand, and sophisticated as the matron of the family, but I also felt a little snobbishness and arrogance and demeaning of those of less status. Audra seem so innocent in the 1st season, but as she got older she became more assertive

Do you think she was on her way to be groomed just like her mother? So if by any chance, a remake of the Big Valley would come to life and Linda Evans took on the role as Audra, as the new lady of house, would she be like Victoria or remain as she was an a young adult?

I think Audra would exhibit some of the qualities, but she doesn't have the same life experiences as Victoria. Audra would come into her own and be her own person, but I just can't see her being much like Victoria.

Audra's biggest asset is her heart. She cares, especially for the less fortunate. Her weakness is that she has a tendency to be naive and gullible.

I can't see a remake without having Victoria still being the central figure. The hard part would be to find an actress who could pull that off. Stanwyck's depiction was effortless.

Nah. Audra had too many brothers spoiling her rotten and grew up with too much privilege. Victoria didn't.

reply

Good point. Sometimes you grow under different circumstances and that molds your character and certainly these two women had completely different backgrounds

reply

I agree. Those early life experiences certainly shaped Victoria. Audra didn't have that.
