R.I.P Van Williams
(February 27, 1934 – November 28, 2016)
Williams was best known for his television role as Britt Reid/the ''Green Hornet'' and his earlier leading role as Kenny Madison in the television detective series ''Bourbon Street Beat'' (1959) and its sequel, ''Surfside 6'' (1960).

I saw that. I always thought that the "Rimfire" episode of BV was a trial run of a spinoff for him, and I also remember him from Bourbon Street Beat (with Richard Long, oddly enough) and Surfside 6. Darned good looking man, he was. RIP, VW.
