Which Barkely has the Best Sense of Humor?

Whether it is one liners or just a look, who has the best comedic lines or emotions? Including Victoria and Audra, and even Silas.

I think Nick does. He was so funny with those squatters on the Barkley property.

Jarrod had a wry sense of humor, as did Victoria. Nick's sense of humor was like the rest of him - loud.

For me it was Nick and always loved when Nick and Heath did their routines together

Nick was great at making a bit of a fool of himself, usually due to his superstitious beliefs and his gullibility. But it was Heath who was great at exploiting that. Heath knew how to take advantage of Nick's naivety.

The peach tree twig hunt for water.

Conning Nick into fighting the boxer.

I still think one of the funniest scenes was Nick punching out one of his cowhands because he read that criminals have "low" ears. Heath laughing at him was one of the high-points.

reply

Yes he was sometimes just goofy and sometimes just funny and of course loved his gullibility.

agreed that it is Nick! All of the other Barkley's were very much traditional in their bearing, and in every way they conducted themselves! Of course "Heath"---eventually becoming so close to "Nick" that he was essentially a full-blown brother instead of a half, with his repeated exposure to "Nick"---couldn't help but have his half-brother's brash, irreverent sense of humor rub off on him! One early example of their quick bond was in the "Barbary Red" episode, when---after "Heath" allows himself to be captured by the crimpers, he pretends to still be unconscious when delivered to "crimping headquarters", yet he is still able to playfully convey with his eyes to a concerned "Nick" that he is all right and has not been harmed, while still not giving himself away to their captors!

Nick by far displayed the best sense of humor. He was involved in 95% of BV'S lighthearted funny moments.
