Another Great Elmer Bernstein Western Score

Hey, wait a minute.

In the very New York City-based contemporary "World of Henry Orient"?

Yep. Listen to a lot of the opening credit music. Sounds just like the "downbeat" notes in "The Magnificent Seven."

On the other hand, the main theme is more in the poignant, lovely "To Kill a Mockingbird" tradition of Bernstein's other most famous score.

Thanks for pointing this out. I watched the movie on cable and missed the music credits, but in some scenes I thought, "Hey, this music sounds like an Elmer Bernstein score for a western!"
