they should REMAKE this movie once again!!!

This is a movie which is bad in several ways however, the basic premise of it is pretty good. A well cast, well directed and well crafted remake with a decent budget could actually work...Maybe.

well then, why dont you come out of your parents' basement and show the original producer/director how it SHOULD be done??

Cruel, but I agree with monsieurzy. Now in 2010 there is a sudden rash of 80s remakes such as Nightmare On Elm Street(as if there were not enough inferior sequels to a good but not great original, IMHO). This remake craze is a craze if you pay to see these terrible or at best so-so movies.

There was a remake in 1967-Journey to The Center Of Time, which I enjoyed.

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.
