Some interesting trivia....

The "campus" seen in the movie is actually the University of Southern California.

The mutants were played by the 1963 Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, chosen for their exceptional height.

Joan Woodbury, who played Ghadra, was a popular actress in the 1930's as well as the grandaughter of the man who founded Woodbury soap.

The film was shot in color in only 18 days on a budget of $250,000.

There was also footage shot not used in the movie that appeared in another movie, but I forget the title, its before they actually turn the machine on, they are told they are being shut down.

Journey to the Center of Time is the movie described that uses footage of this one...

Many, many of these low budget genre movies were shot in a week or two by quick film artists(and I enjoy most of them). This is an above average low budget sci-fier, IMHO.

The Warning Lites made from a Pie Plate and Pickup Truck Rear Lamps... makes sense seeing the budget.
