Just saw Spider Baby for the first time! Oh my! Where has this picture been hiding? It ranks right up there with the best horror/ camp classics! Lon Chaney Jr. is wonderful. The girls are amazing and Sid Haig is truly scary and disturbing. I hope a special edition Dvd is coming because this one really deserves to be seen.
Sat there with a big goofy grin from start to finish.
Is it weird that as disturbed as they were, the girls were seriously turning me on? oh and Sid Haig has never been creepier...weird film but fun to watch.

I was able to catch this on cable. What a beautiful movie.

Am watching this as I write this. Wow! What a bunch of characters...and not just the creepy ones. Quinn Redeker is a friend of my dad's and they've done productions together. He's the perfect straight man.
But where'd they find Karl Schanzer, who plays Schlocker? Man, how short is THAT dude? Like, 5'1" or something? And the little Hitler mustache just adds a dose of camp to a guy already named "Schanzer".
This is best watched late at night with a bunch of friends...and a lot of booze!

I too DVRed it and love it ! you all need to go to TCM UNDERGROUND on fridays @ 0200 am, the best cult films are there.
