Where'd the other Mothra go? *spoiler*
At the end of the previous film, two Mothras hatch from the egg. This film opens with only one and they don't seem to address the other. Anyone know why this is?
shareI seem to recall one of the mothras getting beat up pretty bad by Godzilla in the last film. If not, then perhaps it just died of natural causes.
The Godzilla films do tie together fairly well, but there is always a little room to imagine or create your own tie-togethers.
The last time we saw Rodan (or Rodans, as there were two)they were burning to a crisp on Mt. Aso, so we use a little imagination there as well, to suspect perhaps one survived, or they had unhatched eggs.
