Robinson Crusoe on Mars DVD-R

If anyone is looking for (what I believe is a classic sci-fi movie) on dvd-r...go to superhappyfun.com. They have transferred this movie from laserdisc to dvd, plus each DVDr order comes with free second director's commentary DVDr all for $15 US...just ordered it today, will let you know when it arrives..keeping my fingers crossed. I've been looking for this one for years now.

I just ordered a copy today for myself. Did it actually take 2 weeks for your copy to arrive? The quality must be great if it was transfered from LaserDisc to DVD ... Does it come with any type of case or with artwork ??

reply

It did take 2 weeks (not bad IMO) and the quality is laserdisc quality. Unfortunatley it came in a cd jewel case, no artwork. I made my own. Still not bad for $15 plus shipping.

Got mine in yesterday, took about 7-8 days. One disc with just the feature and the other disc feature with commentary ... Very nice ... Too bad no case with artwork though ...

Thanks for the tip. Iordered my copy on Sunday and received it on Thursday. You were right; the quality is great. Would you send me your artwork so I can make a dust jacket for my DVD? Thanks.

OOOPPPSSS!

I'm disturbed that there is what appears to be some obvious copyright violations going on here...

Please understand that even though there are many people who enjoy films and want to see certain films (I stumbled upon these posts because I'm compiling my own personal list of missing favorite films), it is illegal to copy and especially to sell for a profit obviously well-known motion pictures in any format.

Not only that, but if everyone goes around copying whatever they want, it will discourage the studios from providing modern high-quality new versions of these films.....

Ok,so i have a dvd recorder and for example: i recorded howling 2 n dvd for 50 cents and the quality is excellent, but i shouldn't do that ? instead i should wait and spend 9-15 dollars on the no frills dvd ? get your head out of your ass! dvd companies routinely screw over buyers by first releasing a dvd then by making the special edition later.let the greedy aholes eat it!
