NO Robinson Crusoe on Mars on DVD at this time.

Not CRITERION, PAPAMOUNT, Or anyone else I could find has plans to release "Robinson Carusoe on Mars" as of 4/29/07. Amazon.com says "Not availible yet". I'm supposed to get an automated E-mail if it comes up for future release. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I think this one is way, WAY overdue. I hope when they finally get around to releasing it, they give it a Delux treatment. Remaster, widescreen (or at leas a choice since not everyone appreciates letterboxed widescreen) and maybe all the extras that was on the laser disc, etc.

I figure it's bound to show up sometime. Just hang in there!

I got it off ebay from someone in england it was a burned copy not bad copy either, I got it on april 25th and with the mail jsut recieved the dvd in todays mail plays great

At the beginning of 2007, Criterion announced they will release this on dvd sometime this year. Their "Coming Soon" list extends only a few months ahead, so apparently it won't be out until between August-December.
