At the end of the film after the snow melt, Draper hears voice transmission from a second spacecraft. Can anyone give name to voice for credit in listing?

shareOkay, true enough (I have the laserdisc as well). Now, how about some REALLY tough questions for inquiring minds -
(1 Who was the person (actor)in the survival documentary that played on the omnicom that Kit Draper referred to as "Woodward"?
2) Who were the actual people (Woman & kids) in the photograph found at the site of the Elinor M descent module wreckage that were presumably portraying Col. Dan McReady's wife (Elinor) and kids?
3) What piece of music was the clip that played on the recorder?
4) Who provided the female voice talent on the recorder of "Elinor" stating: "Steve and Diane sent that one to you........etc."
WOW! This is pretty interesting. I hope someone comes up with answers, I'm curious. I plan on picking up the new Criterion DVD in about two weeks. If the commentary from the laser disk is on it (as I've heard it would be) maybe that's where it's explained. I'll have to keep checking this one out.
