Finally, it looks like its actually going to happen....funny how the artwork shows Mona the monkey as the prominant star.....

I thought so, too. Maybe they're being be ironic (monkey in spacesuit means we're not in Kansas), or they're saying it was ahead of it's time (remember the chimp in spacesuit in the "Planet of the Apes" remake).
Criterion prefers to make it's own oddball artwork rather than use classic posters (their recent scifi dvd covers look like one artist did them all).
