How is it in anyway close to original book? I'd say it's another brick in bloody Disney empire - no connection with original Mary Poppins as character or its moral issues. Better read the book and don't watch this Crap.

Walt Disney loved to make these type of movies, but the bottom line it also had to make $$$$.

Movies sometimes use books as a starting point. There is no obligation for them to slavishly follow those books. Often, the movie is an improvement on the book.
