just watched this all the way through for the first time. the incessant loud repetitive music was really annoying. felt the same way about Vertigo. am i the only one?
You are right about one thing: same composer for both: Bernard Herrmann. Some like his music, some don't. Might seem a little old fashioned today, and yes, he repeated the same chords a lot. I like the score for Vertigo the best, the one for Marnie is a little heavy handed.
