Does anybody know where the fishing competition scenes been filmed? That seems a very nice location.

It looks like it was all filmed in a studio.

Some of the exteriors shots were filmed around the San Francisco area but most of the outdoor scenes, including the lake, were filmed on the studios' backlot in L.A.

I wish the lake and the cabins etc were real as to me the atmosphere of the film makes me want to be there.

I think the lake was in LA County somewhere. In fact I think that park may be either in Pasadena or near Hollywood itself.
