Anyone else think of Mr. Holland's Opus?

So, I was wondering if anyone else had found any correlation between this movie and Mr. Holland's Opus. For some reason, I had always connected the two movies, occaisionally getting them confused before I had actually seen either one, and I just talked to my friend, who had thought that Mr. Holland's Opus was about a man who turned into a fish. I'm not really sure that the two movies have anything in common, but if anyone else has had this experience or knows of any correlation between the two movies, I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

I always thought this movie was Mr Hollands Opus. I don't think they have anything in common, but they almost sound similiar.

There is NOTHING similar about these movies except for having Mr. in the title. Wow- how do you get them confused?

Maybe because 'Opus' kind of resembles 'Octopus', and you think of the ocean? I don't know.

They do have things in common, but Opus didn't have any fish scenes, did it?
