When Carla/The Gorgon was decapitated at the end, how did it destroy the Gorgon if she was already dead? Why would she not inhabit another body of a villager? Also...the Gorgon close-ups really need to be redone. Like the original Star Trek episodes with all new ships.

Could you imagine another horror franchise this time centering around Christopher Lee's Prof. Meister as an investigator of monsters and in keeping with this film, they would have been female.
'The Succubus.'
'The Lamia.'
'The Erinyes.'
After all why should Peter Cushing have had all the fun as Prof. Van Helsing, especially when Lee's Prof. Meister was a hoot of a character?
