-the Gorgon herself in that decrepit Castle

Oh yes, the music. The music and the ambiance. And the castle. These three factors are the playground for the wonderful actors. I love The Gorgon!

It might not be my favourite Hammer film, but it is certainly one of the most eerie...it has a real menacing atmosphere to it at times, created by all of the above!
Great horror film!

There's much to like in The Gorgon. Terrific cast, nice ambiance; a well above Hammer horror. A classy film all-round.
