First film to use nuclear terrrorism? (spoiler)

Does Goldfinger's plan to irradiate America's gold supply make this the first film about nuclear terrorism? (I mean by a private individual, not like the governments screwing up in On the Beach.)

reply

No. Goldfinger doesn't issue any threats. So it would be a crime. It's also not being done by an organization or a Government but an individual. Thunderball would be the first to deal with nuclear terrorism.

SEVEN DAYS TO NOON (1950).
Great old British film, written by .....the writer of the Goldfinger screenplay.

Paul Dehn? I guess I could just look it up. :)

That would be Godzilla in 1954. Although you can claim its atomic terrorism on display and not nuclear terrorism
