I would agree. I am always tempted to make allowance for British films, as they frequently had little budget to work with and so can't be blamed for their restricted scope for cast, sfx, settings, etc., and in this film Terry Fisher does manage to build up the tension in several scenes, so it was heading for 7/10, but what lost the 2 points was that dreadful robot dummy they mocked up to get hit by the car. It's like they ask some kids in kindergarten to make it.

7 out of 10 for me. It’s brisk, often suspenseful, and doesn’t overstay its welcome. A lesser director may not have fared so well, but in the capable hands of Terence Fisher it rises above its low-budget.
