Cell phone uh huh pen?

I just saw an episode where Solo gets a message from New York and his mode of communication is talking into a pen and communicating that way. Pre future version of a cell phone? Lol

Yes, this show was pretty dead on about mobile communication devices. The "Star Trek" communicators look exactly like cell flip phones. It was the comparatively enormous size of their computers where they rather overestimated what we'd have.

Well, there are still mainframes, and server farms/clusters that take up rooms and rooms. Star Trek: TNG introduced the "data pads" which later iPads and other tablet computers somewhat resemble.

Open Channel D - I first saw this when it was originally shown. While at my elementary school's Halloween Carnival, I became deeply bored and skipped out on the rest, walked back home and watched my favorite show happily from beginning to end...but caught hell when my mother got home. Grant Elementary School in Duluth, Minnesota - I was in 6th grade at the time. Loved the chemistry and banter between Vaughn and McCallum...and still do!
