I remember an episode where Gomer's platoon is participating in war games.
Sgt Carter has Gomer on guard duty and tells him to not let anyone pass unless they know the password which is "Walla Battu. Gomer repeats it, "Waller Battu" and then asks what that means. Carter tells him it's a place the Marines fought a battle.
I've tried to figure out the when and where of this battle. Anyone know which episode this is from and what Carter was referring to? Thanks in advance.

The episode in question is called "They Shall Not Pass" (Season 1 Episode 11). Sgt Carter stated "Kuala Batu" (Quallah Battoo) was a marine operation against Malay pirates in 1832. I had to guess at the actually spelling, but thankfully Google corrected me.
