Please tell me if I'm crazy or not. I swear I remember seeing an episode of GPUSMC where Gomer NURSED a baby. I am not making this up, nor pulling anyone's leg. I wasn't doing any drugs back when I was 8, but I honestly remember seeing this.

So was I remembering correctly? DID Gomer breastfeed the baby? Like I said, I wanted to know if I was crazy or not.
I have seen most of the episodes. I have a few of them on VHS. If my memory serves me correctly. I think Gomer had a bottle of milk/ formula for the baby in his uniform shirt to keep the milk warm. When he was unbottoning his shirt to get the bottle, it looked like he was going to breast feed the baby, but he was just getting the bottle for the baby. Maybe someone can back up this story.

I don't have to see the episode. I can tell you that they would NOT have put any hint of something like that on TV in 60's. Everything changed in the '70s but in the '60s it was all FCC guidelines.

Actually Roy Stuart's(Boyle) last episode was the one after this one called "Friendly Friendly Freddy, the Gentleman's Tailor"
