Slacker

In the season 3 episode "How to Succeed in Farming Without Really Trying," there's a scene at the 6:40 mark where Sgt. Carter is talking with Cpl. Boyle. If you look over Sgt. Carter's shoulder you can plainly see a soldier raking the air instead of the ground. The other soldiers on detail around this chap don't seem to be getting anywhere fast either. Those actors had probably been raking for hours while the same scene was filmed over and over again... and it really shows.

I've been in a few commercials and you're spot on the money. Whatever scene your in, there's always someone who thinks it should be done over and over and over again. Eating is a tough one, but try lifting weights for the camera 20 or 30 times in succession.... that'll make you puke too, take my word for it.

I love to hear inside information like that. I thought Mary Badham was very good in "To Kill a Mocking Bird," though I wasn't very impressed with the parts she played afterwards in other productions.

Back in the early 90's I did a few commercials with a guy named Jordan Knight, who, at the time performed in a popular singing group that had a relatively large teenybopper fan base. His brother was a friend of mine who owned a string of fitness centers in RI and he asked that I do it for him.
