If anyone has any new info on Gomer Pyle USMC on DVD, or if it will air on TV somewhere, please let me know. Big fan of the show, think it was one of the better sitcoms to run on television. <>Thanks<>

There is an update on the dvdshowsondvd web site. It says Q1 2006.

No newer news on it yet though, and it's almost April, 2006. I hope they didn't put it on hold. After I watched the Andy Griffith episode which was also the first episode of Gomer Pyle, I am eagerly awaiting it.

Hey they.

Im a Gomer Pyle fan too, from Singapore.

i bought the Gomer Pyle The Complete Television Series on DVD, shipped from Canada for US$139.99 excluding shipping, unfortunately, the quality was rather poor. As i realised & was comfirmed by the company's personnel that it was recorded episodes aired on tv, & copied to DVDs.
And one of the disc was defective, with 5 episodes not being able to play.

The company did offer a partial refund, but i gotta send back the DVDs, as they could not get a better quality for me.

December 12, 2006 is the planned release of Season 1. :)

Amen! This show needs to be released on DVD. I just wish they'd release all of the seasons at one time as opposed to stretching it out over several years.

ALRIGHT!!!! Thanks for the info! I have been waiting for this for some time! My four favorite sitcoms ever are The Honeymooners (I own the entire series), The Andy Griffith Show ( I own six seasons), Gomer Pyle USMC, and Sanford and Son (I own four seasons). Very glad to hear it!! They used to show these shows on TBS in the evenings, but now they're too busy showing Friends and Seinfeld, or Sex and the City, none of which I care for.

Good for Gomer fans!

On March 10, 2015 CBS DVD released Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.- The Complete series on DVD in Region 1.
