Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy

Gomer would have told, you think?

reply

I think he would. He runs off the mouth at Carter anyways.

Gomer was straight anyway. If he was faggy he wouldn't have dated Lou Ann.

Don't get me wrong , I love the series a LOT, But...OH MY GAWD! Gomer is so in love with Sgt. Carter! I'm not joking. Gomer always seemed wishy washy about girls anyway, and would never ever get engaged to Lou Ann, it was always, 'we'll think about it when I'm out of the Marines'.....

The character of Gomer is so NOT straight! He fawns over Sgt. Carter and practically moons over him. Gomer's dating Lou Ann must have been written into the script to 'butch him up' and make him appear more straight. It was such a gay love for an authority figure like Sgt. Carter that it borders on obsession. It almost goes as far in the gay world as a slave/master leather daddy thing, if you look at that way. Gomer would do ANYTHING for Sgt. Carter far above and beyond anything the Marines required him to do!

Is it just me? Am I the only one who thinks Gomer coulda been gay?

Ok, now let's see how many Gomer fans object to this idea.....

And I'm not joking about Jim Nabors' private life, either...

Don't ask, Don't tell...

I say DO TELL!

I totally disagree about Gomer. And the joke about Nabors and Rock Hudson was just that.
