when carter and gomer are in hollywood making a movie carter makes a reference that OMAR SHARIF is in Poland filming the Paderewski story. no such film exist. does anyone know why they would give a fake movie title with a real star?
shareJust a guess but I think it may have to do with a different motion picture corporation than where GP was filmed (Desilu- Paramount). They wanted to capitalize on the actor's name without plugging a studio by naming an existing movie.
