Actually a touching moment.

In the ep. Where the beatnick stayed with them, at the end when the boy and his father reconcile they actually have a SERIOUS touching, heart felt moment about FAMILY, I was thinking that was RARE for a comedy show in the 60s.

The Addams Family actually had pretty good family values. It would be hard to think of a TV family that were as close knit, or that clearly loved each other as much.

Another episode that comes to mind was when they all dressed up as Santa to convince Wednesday that he really did exist. This was odd considering that the family was so against any of the good guys in fairy tales!

I guess everyone loves Santa no matter how dark they are, LOL

I mean Santa is supposed to represent love for all people even the misunderstood.

Ahhh, but isn't Santa just an anagram for "Satan"? lol

IT's so funny that this had to have been the weirdest family on TV at the time because they were dark and macabre and always going on about death and stuff, but psychiatrists said that they were the most NORMAL family on TV because they did love each other, which is what you don't see in other shows, and you certainly never see it today.

Today...they would be considered normal....mall goths....hahaha!
