halloween episode

uncle cackle pays a halloween visit and morticia plays the lute(?) and
sings horribly off-key.....reminding me somewhat of an early version of
yoko ono. 8 out of 10 stars.one of the better episodes.

idk why but on my dvd this episode is really really fuzzy and looks old. it kinda freaked me out because they were doing witch craft and stuff...weird.

i love this show

I thought that episode was a little over the top for it's time, Morticia mentions Satan in her chant!

The past doesn't exist and the future is only an illusion.

i know!!! i felt so guilty watching it! but it was a good episode i must say...and even though she said satan it was funny when she rhymed it with "we're all a waitin" i giggled hehe

I never really thought of the Addams Family as Satan worshipers. They seem more like atheists eventhough the DO talk about ghosts.

Yeah...but they did have him come to dinner (Beatnik epi.)
but idk...I like to think they were more than athiest...but that's just me. I like to think everyone is good and Christian hehehe. but they're not sigh

I wish they were my neighbors...Lurch was hot...*drool*

They all seemed kinda different in spiritual ways.

Morticia seemed like an athiest to me for some reason, maybe a lot having to do with how ridiculious she thought it was for Mama to tell fortunes.

Mama seemed like a Witch.

Gomez made me think of a Warlock.

Fester, I dunno, just a lunatic, lol.

Lurch seemed immortal to me, he could appear and dissapear and never seemed to sleep.

Question your prejudices.

reply

I think that one reason the second Halloween episode is fuzzy is because parts of it were recycled from the first season's Halloween episode.

reply

They should have had a Chrismtas episode in season one instead of just in season 2.

Fester would definetly be leading a cult, haha. He kind of resembles the Haley Bop guy.

Try not to take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.
