Gomez knew how to treat Morticia

Gomez was a man who knew how to treat Morticia.

It would be great if more men followed his example.

Well it was easy to treat Morticia good, b/c she treated him so good as well. Not many relationships are as good as theirs.

Did you know that psychiatrists said that The Addams family was the healthiest family on tv in the 60's? I would say thay are right on the money.

The Addams' were a LOT more loving and kind that a LOT of the "traditional conventional" families are.

That's what I don't like about the new Addams Family Series and the later movies, it LOST that aspect, they were flat out MEAN.

I think Lurch was a very touching character as well, I mean people feared him, but I think he was one of the MOST gentle and soft hearted out of the bunch!

I STILL tear up in the episode where he cries when his harpsicord is gone.

And I like the few sentimental scenes between Lurch and Wednesday, those are very cute.

Dude. If I could marry someone like Gomez...I totally would. hehe

I love the arm kissing deal I'm like "Awwwwww".
Wish had someone who would do that when I spoke French lol

I agree, Toking65000. The Addams' were kind and loving. The newer shows and movies based on them did a great disservice to their love and compassion. I think mean is an understatement!

When I was little, I used to think that Morticia was mean when she rebuffed Gomez' advances -- until I realized later on what he probably really wanted to do with her!! Then I knew why company came first and other things came later!!

I love that harpsichord!!

The Addamses had kind of an old world charm. They seemed more European than American but they weren't nasty and stuck-up the way most Europeans are.

Yes I agree, I wish more people were like them.

Also a funny thing, if you watched the French dubbed version Morticia speaks Spanish to drive Gomez wild.

I was always curious how Morticia speaking French would make sense if the WHOLE episode was in French, LOL So they just change it to Spanish. It kinda made sense since Gomez IS SPanish.

Gomez and Morticia are in my humble and honest opinion one of the hottest couples in TV history! They were pretty romantic with each other...Gomez being turned on by French...damn!

Danny, your actually right on the money. Most relationships I have been in or have known are not in anyway equal and one person either gets more out of it than the other or has more power over them.

Gomez was always one of my role models on how to treat a lady but I have known so few like Mortica who are worthy of that kind of respect.

Gomez was very charming.
